Have You Tried a Yonana Yet!?

I’ll admit it.  Sometimes I’m great at giving gifts.  Other times I stink (really, you can ask my brothers.  One year I got my youngest brother a Mexican Train Domino game that made a really annoying train sound.  He told me he would rather not get a present than get that.  I was strapped for time and thought a game would be fun!!!!  Apparently not, haha).

Raspberry Banana Yonana

Well this year, I think I actually did an amazing job getting Christmas presents.  My sister is always trying to eat healthy, but she LOVES dessert.  So I got her a Yonana this year!  It is a cool little machine that turns frozen bananas and other fruit into a delicious dessert that has the consistency of soft serve ice cream or even sorbet!

The Yonana Machine

I stopped by on my way home from work today to try one out for the first time and I was amazed!  Not only is it quick and easy, but it literally has no extra ingredients other than whatever fruit you put in, which makes it extra healthy.  Today, we made Raspberry Banana Yonanas.  All it required were 2 frozen bananas and 3/4 cup of frozen raspberries.  What a fun way to enjoy fruit as dessert!!

Have you tried using a Yonana yet?  What Yonana recipes have you sampled?
